2007. The year of green. Politicians and actors alike struggled to save the planet. An Inconvenient Truth had already brought Hollywood's attention to Global Warming. New technology such as water powered cars, funny shaped light bulbs, and eco-friendly clothing was meant to save Earth. But deforestation and oil dependency worked against it. 2047. The age of pure consequence. You thought it was bad before. Nearly 12 billion people occupy Earth. Forests have decreased by 30% in the last forty years. Oil is now a thing of the past. Our energy comes from the Sun. Some comes from water. Which is fine, since there is an abundance of that. Glaciers are now melted and cities are under water. Heat stays in our atmosphere and cannot escape. Human life is on the brink of extinction. Welcome to outer space. Governments from across the Earth have funded a project and after twelve years in development, it is finally here. Our mission: find a planet suitable for human life. With most of Earth's resources gone, it can no longer serve a purpose to us. Scientists, doctors, pilots, the best of the best are on this mission. Civilians ranging from teachers to chefs make life on the ship more sustainable. Only you can save yourself...mankind is depending on you. Welcome aboard the sirius.
