Hogwarts: View from the Clocktower [LB]

It is year 2014. It has been sixteen years since the famous ‘golden-trio’ has been seen. No one knows where they have disappeared to, or even if they are still alive. What everyone does know, however, is that the Wizarding World is no longer peaceful and safe from the evil that they were trying to prevent. The ministry, in complete and utter ruins, is now overcome by the dark side that the world had tried to keep under control in order to establish peace and happiness.

It was believed that Harry Potter, the child that was prophesied to save the world, had finished Voldemort off for good; but that’s not what the ministry is propagating now. As for the Order of the Phoenix, each of the members had disappeared completely, with no trace of any of them. The citizens of Wizarding England believe that they had all died in battle, but their bodies had never been found. A small group of people, known as the Conspirators, have organized to fight against the new world; but they act in secret, waiting for the opportune moment to reveal themselves. They are the ones who believe the Order is still out there somewhere and will come back to save the world once again.

The new Minister was the largest shock to the world. This man was once in prison for being caught as a death eater, but he had snaked his way from the grip of society’s rule. Rodolphus Lestrange now runs the Wizarding World. He’s a tyrant, and as the most powerful wizard in England, he has listed a new set of rules for the “New World.” Hogwarts is still set up in the same way, but children are only allowed to be taught dark magic, and nothing else. On top of that, only pure bloods and half bloods could attend school. The halves, however, had hardship in store for them; the teachers were expected to treat them horribly, and only treat the pure-bloods with respect. The halves have to prove themselves. As for the muggleborns, they are forced into slavery.

The muggleborns are pulled from their homes by the same welcoming letters that each student receives before their first year of Hogwarts. The whole “Dear Miss/Mr, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry…” and all that bloody nonsense. The difference is, however, that it is a scheme to get more slaves for the Wizarding World. Most muggle parents are killed once their child arrives to the treacherous and ruined lands of Hogwarts. Not only is the staff questionable, but there is drama lingering as well. Someone is admitting stories into the Hogwarts school paper. It is not only by someone anonymous, but it’s not always false. For all new and in-coming students: watch who your friends are.

The Ministry law now states the following:

1. All mudbloods are considered property
2. No half-blood is a pureblood’s equal
3. All purebloods rule
4. Any Squib shall be brutally beaten and killed
5. Muggles will not be allowed to live
6. The Minister knows all
7. Any conspirators shall be flogged and killed

The questions are now: will anyone be willing to fight and stop the world from falling apart? The Dark Era of the Wizard World is now in rein, but will anyone save the world from its deadly fate?
