BIOGRAPHY:
Katherine was a quiet child, at first. Since she was an only child. She lived peacefully in the bustling town of London with her parents. Her parents were never quite strict except for the fact that her father was a wizard and she was never to tell a soul. She was never quite interested in anything other than mythology. Though, she had enjoyed spell books, nothing quite excited her as a good folklore. She was sheltered from the outside world, never quite knowing of muggle celebrities and such. Katherine had only become a social butterfly after starting her first year in Hogwarts. Her mother's kindness had rubbed off on her. After her first year, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The shock had made Katherine's father be overstressed, and after her death, he became mentally ill. Her paternal grandparents took her in their own home while her father had to be put away to be rid of his mental problems. The second year of Hogwarts hit Katherine hard. She seemed to be in a slump and never talked to anyone until she was snapped out of it, after visiting her grandparents for Christmas with bruises on her back, returning to her social self.

She excels in Transfiguration, Potions and Divination, though many peers found her quite odd for liking them. Her best friend, Ingrid Adele often studies when around Katherine. To enhance her memorization, Adele likes to read aloud her studies, forcing Katherine to listen along though she would rather do something else like talk about the cute boy that was just staring at her.

Exceeding in her studies, she has taken many NEWTs, although Katherine was never fond of test taking, she took them to please her grandparents, and with her parents in mind. She had her mother's carefree attitude on life. Never quite fearing death or stressing on schoolwork. Although she had her dad's brains, always easily memorizing things. She does not know what she wants to be in the future.

Katherine sighed and furrowed her brow. She had stayed up late again, thinking about the most random things. She worried about getting bags under her eyes. Bags were frightfully unattractive on a girl. She was carelessly limping to the Great Hall to get some breakfast, although she felt like vomitting, she might as well put something in her stomach to vomit. As she closed her eyes to yawn, she knocked into a tall figure, knocking down his books.

"I-I'm sorry! I wasn't looking." Katherine looked up to see a boy that looked exactly like the male character in a romance novel she just recently finished. Blushing and a little flustered, she apologized repeatedly. She clumsily picked up and dusted off his books to return to him. Katherine stared a bit, analyzing the boy's figure. A little fazed because her creepy habits, she handed over the books. His shocked face turned to a cheeky smile and told her it was alright and no big deal. And as he left he winked at Katherine. Her face was burning to a rosy pink. He is sooooo awesome, she thought to herself. And soooo nice too. She winced a bit, oh this was her first encounter with love. This was probably just a childish crush, she kept repeating to herself. Giggling to herself as she rushed to the Great Hall. She couldn't help but have a huge grin on her face. Finally arriving at the Great Hall, she hurried to the seat next to Ingrid Adele. Telling her everything that had just happened.

"It feels like a first love all over again!" Katherine gushed. Adele shook her head, laughing a bit, telling her that that's what she said the last time. She always was crowding herself with novels, movies and tv series with all the cliches of love. "But...it just feels so...real!" she giggled again. Instead of the vomitting feeling she had just a few minutes ago, her stomach was filled with butterflies and she felt like being a girl. "Yeah, yeah. Just eat your breakfast, lovebird." Adele
sighed. Kit droned on and on about how amazing he was.
"You know, you've only met him for like...2 minutes."
"Sometimes, love sparks in just a few seconds! Y'know...love at first sight?" Kit justified herself.
"Oh, there he is right now! Doesn't he look divine?" She directed her eyes towards the man, and then very soon her lovesick face grew into a shocked one. "H-he...has a girlfriend! I...I should have guessed, I mean...he is handsome and all." She watched enviously, how they both suited each other.
Kit averted her eyes to make contact with Adele, laughing heartily, "Well, at least they're cute together!" And with a flick of her wrist, wand in hand, she whispered some words that were unintelligible. A flicker of flame started on the hair of the girl next to Katherine's love. Still laughing a bit, Kit got up and brushed herself off. "I give them my blessing."
