tim really does not resemble anyone in the family except his sister. he has dark brown hair, blue eyes, and is extremely thin. these features are not in anyone else except him and mary-jane. he is natural thin due to his height and the gift of a fast metabolism. he has never got sports or exercises yet has the appearance of muscles under his shirts. he dresses in a rather normal casual style. septimus can be found wearing jeans, a cotton tee shirt with no tag, and large converse on an average day. vanity is not is forte and he only ever takes time to make sure his hair is out of his face. he slips on clothes in the morning without thinking.

BIOGRAPHY:
the family was truly broken up before it was started. arthur archibald edwards and diana vanessa edwards were married quickly after meeting each other at their jobs at the ministry. diana was younger, and of a lesser position but despite the ten year age difference the two fell into a passionate romance that ended just as passionate. the two, in the end, were fighting, hurling plates, and calling each other every name in the book. at the end of their relationship, arthur had started sleeping around with another woman and diana had become emotional with the hormones of pregnancy. the two decided they could not get over their differences and that it would be better for the child if they got a divorce.
the two divorced but agreeded that both would get equal custody of their child. to both of their surprise, on the day of delivery it was found out that they were not to have one child but two. mary-jane edwards and septimus ryan edwards were born on august twenty-third, two healthy screaming babies.
although the recently divorced couple agreeded to equal custody of the children, diana was the primary caretaker and she instantly fell into a post-partum depression as well as a post marriage depression. for the first several years of their lives, young septimus, or timmy as he prefered, and mary-jane saw their mother in bed watching the television or walking around the house like a zombie. tim was a bit more comprehending of the situation and knew their ghost father they saw twice a year was the cause, and he hated him for it. mary-jane yearned for the attention from both of their parents and started acting out from an early age.
the children both got into hogwarts when they were twelve. septimus was an instant gryffindor while the hat took some time on mary-jane. it landed on slytherin, a choice that appolled septimus. he watched her walk to the green and black covered table in awe as she smirked and greeted her new allies.
things did lighten up though. the twin's mother got out of her depression and even started dating again. tim had found a love for magical creatures and mary-jane, though still acting up and being the pain she was, was staying out of major trouble. tim continued to ignore his father whenever he was forced to see him but then things changed. his father had a long phone call with their mother and they went to stay with him for a year. he had developed a condition called multiple sclerosis that neither muggle nor witch healing could help. septimus began to give his father a chance but was irrevocably torn. a part of him knew he could never forgive him for the way his father had left his mother but another part of him never knew him as a person. he spent the last, most terrible weeks with his father in his study and was there on the day he died.
a fight ensued soon after the death between mary-jane and septimus. the two were sixteen and as different as ever. the fight started as a small one but with the added pressures and emotions of their father's death it turned into much more. soon physical blows were being thrown as well as spells across their father's manor. the two had to be hurled apart by a spell cast by their mother. it was the last night mary-jane and tim ever spoke. they continued to live in the same house but were on the war front. they hated each other. things had been uttered in the fight that could not be taken back.
septimus finished school with good marks, especially in care of magical creatures, and decided he wanted to become a magizoologist. he aspired to write a book one day and to live in a house that was large enough to hold many magical creatures. his sister continued to live at home while he moved away as soon as possible.
