today was the hottest september day scorpius had ever lived through. he hadn't bothered to look at a thermometer or anything of the sort. he just knew. there was sweat rising from every pore on his body, even though he had unbuttoned and removed his shirt. his hair stuck to his moist forehead, even though he kept running the back of his hand over his forehead and upper lip. he kept his eyes closed as he walked the grounds of his family manor, his lids protecting the sacred retina beneath. without even looking, scorpius knew his skin was glowing like wet porcelain in the late afternoon sun.
he ran the back of his hand across his forehead once more, wincing at the metal of his wedding band which had been heated, like himself, by the sun. his tongue ran over his bottom lip just as his lids opened to look at the band on his finger. between her job and his own, he and rose had barely seen each other today - this week - this month - this year. it was a terrible thing to crawl into bed next to your loved one, wrap your arm around their middle, but to wake up with them gone or too busy dressing for work. she was at work now, which is why scorpius was strolling the grounds and the gardens of the family manor. it was less lonely out in the light of the sun, than in their large home on his own.
he hadn't known where he was headed when he exited the back door of the manor nearly thirty minutes ago, but as he saw the reflecting, sloshing waters of the pond he sighed with relief. he was thankful that he hadn't been walking without reason. he kicked off his shoes before he sat on the bank, to remove his trousers. this proved to be a difficult task since the fabric was moist with his sweat and clinging to the soft skin of his thighs and calves. once they were removed, he tossed them aside and looked around. the grounds were large, and though there were a few gates and a few short sections of fence, there really was no protection from the outside world. any person could just wonder onto his property. this thought only made him pause, but did not stop him from standing and removing his undergarments. he stood, bare and pale and naked, for a moment before stepping into the cold, clean waters of the pond.
in the most shallow bit of the pond, to water came to just above his navel, and the deepest bit came to his chin. scorpius lowered himself bit by bit in the shallowest bit of pond until his head was under the water. he stood back up and took a deep breath, walking a few feet until the water was at his chest. that was where he was standing, relaxing in the blessed, cool water when he heard someone approaching. his wand was in his trouser pocket on the bank a few feet away. scorpius could have done many things in that moment, he could have dived and hid under the water's surface, he could have swam for his wand, he could have threatened who ever was approaching, he could have even swam away. he did none of these things. instead, he stood, frozen. in this situation, being frozen was a sign of fear, but scorpius did not feel fearful. he felt embarassed. he had been caught off gaurd and bare. he would recover quickly, though, he knew.

She sighed one time. It was a busy day but you'd had to be a fool not to notice that every day the hospital got more packed. And though most people knew why none said it. And of course it wasn't her task to judge and act. No she was here to help the people, to put back the pieces. That did happen, when people (even if they had their license to apparate) splinch it rather looked painful.
Her dark green uniform was probably the only thing that just screamed healer out, other then that she was just an ordinary witch. She was happy when she was done for the day. Even more because done for the day became rare, when someone came in dieing five minutes before she left. she had to help them. Today that wasn't the case. She went home when she was done, out of the cool hospital.
She apparated home. It felt good to be home though when she came into the living era she saw that there was no one there. She took off her green robe and threw it over a chair. She hadn't noticed till now that it was a rather warm day. The hospital was magically cooled of course. It was unusually warm for a September day.
She pulled of her shoes and changed them to a more comfortable pair. Then she removed the clip that pulled her hair back and just let it hung loose. Something she rarely did. She exited the manor trough the kitchen door and looked to the garden. She knew that Scorpius was home and the two hadn't been seeing each other allot lately. Something neither of them could help.
It was late afternoon and she was happy for the few moments of peace and quit she had. Her pace wasn't one that you'd say she was hurrying. After all she hadn't heard him in the house, and she had even called for him, so he had to be around here somewhere. On times like those you really disliked having a large garden.
As she was walking rather aimlessly she just looked around and admired the late summer nature. Summer was her favorite season. She didn't know why though but she liked the heat. way better then winter. She hadn't noticed till then where she was heading to. Then she saw that she was heading in the general direction of the pond.
The cool water was reflecting in the sun as she neared it. And there she found him, he had been swimming witch wasn't so weird considering the weather. She smiled lightly as she saw him there. He clearly hadn't been expecting anyone at this moment. Honestly she hadn't expected it herself to stand here at this moment.
When she came to a stop right before it at the bank of the pond she also noticed his cloths laying here. She cracked a small smile. If it would have been anyone else then her this might just have been extremely embarrassing for him. "Hey"
[/b] she greeted him.[/blockquote]

he could feel the heat on the back of his neck and ears and wasn't sure if this heat was due to the high, vicious sun or the high, vicious amount of embarrassment he was feeling. as the sounds of approaching feet came faster and louder, his heart raced in his chest. all at once, though, he let a sigh of relief escape his lips as they formed a rather excited grin. i didn't expect you home so early, he said through his grin, which was continuing to grow. he began to walk through the water, to the bank. why don't you join me? he mused, looking her over.
flaming hair and a soft face showered in freckles. her body was small, but had the perfect curves that his hands were perfectly familiar with. her legs were longer than his, and she had very small, yet very strong and soft feet. every bit of her scorpius found beautiful. those eyes of hers made him want to confess and to pray to gods he, any other time, didn't believe in. even just the way her lips moved made him want to kiss her, and made him hard.
his blue eyes were still running over her, looking at her long and hard because he hadn't had the chance to see her awake in some while. his gaze softened, and his grin shrunk to a small, yet inviting smile. i think we need this alone time, don't you? he waited with baited breath for her to say yes (she would or he would simply pull her in and to him) and strip down and step off of the bank and into the water.

he didn't show it for long, if he showed it at all, that he had been embarrassed. Pretty soon he pulled out her favorite grin as he asked her why she was home early. "Not early, In time." She said with a little smile. he had moved toward the bank of the river and she sat down on her knees to be slightly more on his level. She saw his eyes on her but it was nothing that he hadn't seen before. In fact he had seen much much more.
She thought about it, not for long though. She knew that whether her answer was yes or no she would end in the pond anyway. The only question was with or without cloths. It was true they hadn't had some alone time in what seemed years. She wordlessly decided to join him. She would have anyway. She pulled of her gray t-shirt without hesitation. Then she stood up again to kick off her shoes and pull of her skirt. Then she removed her underwear and stepped in the pond.
When she stepped in she locked her arms around him. It had been way to long since they had been that close. "You are right." She said in a soft tone. "It has been way way to long." She then released him and walked deeper into the pond. She took a breath and went under. A few seconds later she came up again her long now dark red hair dripping wet.
Her hands went up to pull her red hair behind her ears. Only because she couldn't see trough it. She looked over to her pale, handsome and tattooed husband. She had missed this, just the two of them with nothing around and no one around. When both of them actually had time for one another and neither of them were working or busy with something else. It was just the two of them now. She only hoped that no one would interrupt them. Because that really would be embarrassing.

scorpius watched her with unblinking eyes as she stripped and stepped into the water, he turned and pressed his back to the sloping bank of the pond, watching her walk deeper into the water and lower herself, like he had, and return to the surface. his lips were still twitching with the smile he couldn't help but wear around rose, just like his blue eyes grew rather milky and soft when she was around. she just did things to him that no one else could. that was why he married her. she knew him, she could control him, and make him lose control. other than how she was with him, she was wonderful on her own. stunning in appearance and full of courage and heart, which he had always admired in her and her family. it was something he only wished would rub off on him and his family.
while she pushed her hair behind her ears, scorpius stepped to her. they were facing the same direction, but he could see her face perfectly in his mind. he kissed her soft, freckled, and wet shoulder. his hands reached to trace her under the arms: from her hips up, and back down. he traced her again; from her wrists to her shoulders. he traced the curves of her neck with the tips of his fingers and continued up and up until his hands were in her hair, which he assisted in pushing out of her face and slicking it back on her head. when the hair was gone from her neck and gave that a soft kiss, as well. he kissed up and along her jaw line, too. sadly, he was not able to reach her lips with his lips in their current position, to he swam in a half circle to face her.
well, he said, watching her lips. at least your being home at this time of day means that there are less wounded people in the world today. he couldn't wait for her response. he pressed his lips to hers, his teeth quick to nibble on her bottom lip. he had missed kissing her. he had missed touching her. he had missed holding her. he had missed her.

From the moment she stripped down and entered the water she knew what she was doing. She knew the effect she had on her husband and honestly sometime she didn't mind using it a little bit. She felt him coming from behind her. Kissing her softly and he knew her as well as she did him. She felt his hands trace her body as she stopped the previous action of pulling her hair away.
She had missed this kind of closeness with him. The rare times they had been this close toward each other were the times that they slept together. But waking up together was often something they could only think of. Or rather dream of. So yes she was rather happy to be with him again. He began continuing what she had been doing until a few moment ago. When all her hair way away from her face and pretty much hung over her other shoulder he began kissing her again.
This time he began at her neck working his way up to her jaw line. She would have to turn to meet his lips and when she was about to do that she saw him come around her and stand up again before here. She heard him say his words but didn't pay that much attention to them as he kissed her again but this time on her lips. She felt his teeth against her lips and she parted them granting him entrance and starting a little fight over dominance. Witch she knew that in the end he would win.
They where still human of course, and humans do need air. So in the end, even though she wanted to let it last much longer, they had to part to breath. When the moment came to took the liberty of answering his previous statement. "Only in the Magical world" She had no idea how it was with the muggles. And honestly she had been trained to help magically, so it would be a bit harder to treat muggles.
She let out a slow breath as they both stood in the hot September sun. There could be worse thing in life. When she said that she wrapped her hand around him again. And then she place her lips on his and started kissing him again. The red head had missed him and she knew that all these moment couldn't be taken away from her.

in a brief second scorpius cupped his left hand to her cheek and pressed his forehead and nose to hers. his eyes looked into hers. he saw the deep blue that seem like treacherous waters to dive in - but now, after years of taking the plunge into them, they seemed as safe and familiar as the pond they were wading in. hey now, he said, his voice soft. his fingers traced her cheek bone and his hands caressed her face and neck. don't think about things like that. keep your mind on the thought that you're helping people and someday there will be less people you have to help. eventually, less people will be getting hurt. if we don't think of it that way, than we'll turn terrible miserable. scorpius peeled his forehead and nose away from hers.
think about what is happening right now. who you are with. think about who we are. a malfoy and a weasley. if we can overcome that good verses evil battle, we can certainly over come whatever other battles may come. he kissed her then, with all of his weight and passion thrown into it. there would be no fight fordominance in this kiss, because scopius was already taking control. his tongue traced the curve of her bottom lip, but did not wait for his to grant him entrance. the tip of his tongue spread her lips for himself. he let his tongue mingle and dance with hers for a moment before he pulled away. have i told you i loved you lately?

Of course he was there for her. Whenever she thought stuff like that he was able to talk it out of her head and put her mind onto different thoughts. She looked into his very light blue eyes and smiled a bit. She had a faint idea about what was going to come. "You were right." she said with a sigh. He would be happy to hear it, though he knew it, since she always was the first to take him down if he got trouble with his ego. She still loved him never the less.
She nodded once when he took his head of hers. The redhead smiled up to her husband. What he mentioned brought some bad memories. Her family had been a bit... unreasonable with at the beginning of their relationship. Mostly her father though. She could more then imagine how his family must have reacted. Probably the same has a very large proportion of the slytherin students at that time. They pulled trough and they'd pull trough this as well.
He attacked her lips with his lethal ones. She was slightly surprised by the passion she felt but she didn't mind it at all. Scorpius had control something he was enjoying she could tell. But he was a fantastic kisser, she had admitted it a long time ago. Without any patience he parted her lips before she granted him entrance. When he pulled away the smile was still on her face. It had been to long since they kissed like that.
She let out a little laugh. "Yes, but no matter how many times you say it i still love to hear it." she said. "I love you to." she added then. "And what have you been up to lately?" Because of the little time they spend together lately she hadn't been able to ask it as often as she wanted to.

he kept his hands at her face, where the tips of his fingers traced the bones of her cheeks and the bridge of her nose, the shape of her ear, the curve of her neck, and, finally, the plump lips that he loved to taste. he, for probably the thousandth time, tried to count everyone of her freckles while he looked at that beautiful face of hers. his eyes glazed over, counting those freckles and contemplating his answer. what had he been doing lately?
he lifted his pale shoulders and dropped them in a shrug. i've been working and visiting old friends, he said, simply. when i'm not doing those two things, i'll pop off to nowhere in particular and wander around. or i'll sit around here and think about you and us. his lips had found hers again. he hadn't meant to kiss her - well, he hadn't intended to, but staring at those lips of hers was like placing a magnet near metal. there was a force he could not resist. his lips, teeth, and tongue had their way with her mouth for a moment, until he managed to pull himself free.
he kissed along her jawline and then down her neck. he rested his forehead on the low curve of her neck. and you - what have you been up to lately?

She patiently waited for his answer as she felt his hands on her face. As well as his eyes. she wasn't afraid of it because she knew she could trust him. She then saw his rather pale shoulders shrug. Witch made her only think that he should come out in the sun every now and then. when she saw him for the first time all those years back she had even thought he was an albino. Now she knew better though.
But old friends? that could be anyone. "Ooh really. who? someone i know?" she asked. Purely out of curiosity of course. She let out a little laugh when he told her he had been thinking about them, as a couple. "Aah, and what about it?" now she was wondering over all the things that he could possibly think about them as a couple. She hoped that it wasn't anything bad. because of course she loved him and she didn't even want to think about the, for her, non existing possibility that he would leave her.
She gave him better access to her neck by leaning it toward the other site. "I've been at work." that was the truth she had hardly even time to eat breakfast. "Mostly wishing that i had more time to spend with you." she had also been thinking about everything that was going on in their world. With the three forces fighting."And I've been thinking about what's going on." she was a real mood killer now. At least in her eyes.

he removed his mouth from her neck.
scorpius considered his answer. who had he been spending his time with recently, anyhow? a different person every week, he knew that. well, he began, counting on his finger and looking to the sky as if that would help him to remember. i took molly out to lunch, rose should probably expect this, seeing as molly was the closest thing scorpius ever had to a best mate. i ran into meissa on the streets in london and we ended up spending a few hours together, he looked to her face for a moment. he and meissa used to be involved, he knew it would be best for him to look her in the eyes at this moment for reassurance, in case she needed it. sure, he had been romantic with molly, too, but there was a stronger bond of trust when it came to family.
he looked back to the sky, holding up a third finger. on day you worked nearly a two day shift, i popped off to france and watched a quidditch match. i caught a brief glimpse of emerson and natalie, he realized his list had gone from a fellow friend, to all of his old friends that disliked her. he looked to her face again, his finger tracing it once more. he wondered how he had so many friends who disliked his wife, and how he could still be friends with them. oh right, because he cared what he thought, not what they thought. he loved her, and he could care less about anyone else's feelings. well, other than hers, that is. what about them as a couple?
he smirked. i've been thinking of ways to get you to quit that job of yours and come to be home with me. i know you love helping people though, so i obviously won't succeed. maybe i'll get you fired, he joked. i've been thinking about how much i miss you, he ran his hand along her cheek then tucked a wet strand of hair behind her ear. and how much you better miss me. about how maybe when things are less hectic for us, we can consider children. mostly, i've been thinking about parties. i'd really rather enjoy some sort of party. i haven't attended one since graduation, and i'm craving one.
he knew what she was going to say before she said it. stop worrying, rose, he said gently, his mouth pressed against the skin of her ear lobe. nothing too terrible is happening now. save the worrying for when it gets worse. be happy with the time we have right now. he knew she would still have these thoughts no matter what he said, but he hoped she would remember that she was strong. he was strong. together they were nearly invincible.

He took Molly out, best mate after all, not to mention family. Family was close to her she loved them, and trusted them more then anything. They returned that, she knew they did. Though she gave the lot of them a little surprise when she started dating, her now husband, Scorpius. She'd never forget the look on her fathers face as she told him that. It was priceless. She could trust Molly with him but when he took the name Meissa in his mouth she frowned.
They never clicked, they weren't even civil to each other. Seeing how she reacted toward her was something she'd never forgive. That girl was just to narrow minded in her opinion, and she thought that Rose was unworthy. At least she wasn't some brainless bimbo because that was her, rather rude, opinion of the matter. She looked into his eyes, he knew her thoughts on the matter and the fact that the two of them used to be together wasn't exactly great for her.
This list was just going to be every one of his friend, or former friends, she didn't know, who hated her. She knew that it had been a problem for his friends and she often wondered why they just couldn't accept it. Her family and friends had why couldn't they, of course it had taken some time but for crying out loud they were married. She did let our a small laugh though at his choice of words on day you worked nearly a two day shift he'd make her sound like she was some sort of muggle super heroine.
He was thinking of ways to get her quit her job. Nope that is something that will never happen. Well at least when she has something to say about it. "Ooh really?" she knew he was joking but she raised an eyebrow anyway. "And how are you going to do that?" The next words he took in his mouth were a bit of a surprise. Something Rose had never thought about. Children, it did seem like a nice idea but he was right when things were less hectic.
She didn't even know he thought about it. "Since when are you thinking about that." Then he turned to parties. Well she could hardly blame him, he had done allot of parties in his school days and to be honest she needed a chance to relax herself. Because as he said it was hectic. "I can't believe what I'm about to say but i think you are right. I mean we graduated when we were seventeen." It did make her sound a bit old though she was barely in her twenties.
"But of course you would be the one carving for it." She said a bit teasingly. Of course he would know that she would worry. And he was there to calm her down. "You are right." She said. An once the time came she would worry but she'd also keep it together. If the fighting began. And she knew it would happen eventually. Then she would stand with her family and the rest of the order. She laid her head against his chest. It felt very good to be this close to him, it was natural for her. "I love you" she said softly.
