reserved for molly. [/b][/i] IT WAS ONE OF THOSE DAYS. one of those days where the weather was nice and scorpius had only been asked to work for a few hours in the morning. so, what would you do if you were a twenty one year old man on an afternoon of good weather, off of work and with no chore list, and your wife would not be home for several hours? head out to drink with the boys? scorpius considered this. but what boys did he have? he had girlfriends and boyfriends. never friends. unless you count molly.
WHICH HE DID. molly had always been a feisty sort of woman. even at the age of thirteen - the age he met her at - she was a woman. a feisty woman. she knew just how to wear those pencil thin, hour glass shaped skirts. the way she dressed and held herself together, it was as if she were saying look here, girls, this is how a woman does it. this was what mainly attracted scorpius to molly. her stamina and the novel she was reading on the day that they met. eventually though, their attraction wore thin and their friendship was a much more durable fabric. hypothetically speaking, of course. then he met rose, who had such similar features to molly and her own independent features, that scorpius could not help but fall for her. he and rose married shortly after their graduation from hogwarts. molly was his best man, because she was the best and scorpius had always thought she had the balls of a man. emotionally speaking, of course. eventually - like their romance - their friendship was wearing thin. still, though, on days like this he couldn't help but miss her.
IT WAS ONE OF THOSE DAYS. it really was one of those days where he really did want to spend some of his time with his dear friend. so, instead of heading back to his empty mansion, he headed to the busy diagon alley. the streets were relatively empty, considering all of the teenagers were off at school, and that most people were working right about now. the book shop was practically empty when he stepped through the door frame, and his himself behind piles and shelves and even more piles of books. he looked over top of some piles and through the gaping holes of the shelves trying to find her. eventually he spotted her brown curls with their red tint. after spotting her hair, he spotted the rest of her. two years his senior and completely stunning. he continued to search through the piles of books until he found one that actually caught his attention, so he fought with the buckle of his belt before opening the front of his trousers and tucking the book in the warm spot between his legs. of course he had the money to pay for said book, but this was so much more fun.
HE APPROACHED HER WITH A RATHER PLAYFUL GRIN. he was sure to show her the very prominent rectangular prism in the crotch of his trousers. hey there, he sang, simply.

the decision to go out to lunch was an easy one. she knew right away she would love to go out of the store and out to lunch but hesitated, feeling as if there were several things she had to do first before leaving. molly tried to make a list mentally of things to close up shop but the deed was simple. she would just need to agree, get the book from scorpius’ pants, put it away, and lock up the door to the shop. “i should say no due to all the crowds of customers around this booming popular shop,” molly said in an extremely sarcastic tone, “but i’m starving.”
plus, she would never turn down the offer of someone else paying for food and drinks. especially scorpius, he had the money to cover them. she went over to behind the cashier’s counter and grabbed a long cloak, her only real non-muggle item she wore due to it’s warmth. In one sweeping motion, she covered herself and her “sexy librarian” outfit of a pencil skirt, silky blouse, and tights were hidden under her warm cloak. molly was ready for the rainy cold of diagon alley in september. but she had not forgotten the book. she brought her hand out of the shield of the cloak. “the book? what book was it that you contaminated with your manhood? i‘m probably going to need to burn it now anyway.” as she waited for his response, she smiled. it was nice to see Scorpius. the two hadn’t been in contact lately, busy with their work and friends. but being able to laugh and have someone who appreciated witty humor around was just the thing needed to lighten molly up. they were exactly the same as always.
“you never cease to amaze me, you know.” molly said delighted as she thought of their situation and the relationship the two had. she really was his best man despite being a woman. the two were partners in crime. “i don’t hear from you for a few weeks and then you show up in my store with merchandise down your pants. what if my boss would have been here? you just love to give everyone hell, dont'cha?”

SHE WAS SLY. she always had been, but the older she grew the more sly she was becoming. her sense of humor seemed enlightened these days and the tip of her tongue seemed to be covered with quick remarks that she could spit out at any given moment. he felt a sense of pride. he also felt a rather breathy laugh slip from between his lips. well, he began. i don't intend to give it back. if you'd like to reach in there and retrieve it, you have my permission. i highly doubt you have the permission of rose, though. he began to walk in a circular path around her, observing her from hair to toe, and observing her surroundings. i always knew you'd end up working with books. with that pencil thin and hour glass shaped skirt and your book worm ways. you will definitely make some man with sexy librarian fantasies very happy some day.
HE HAD ONCE THOUGHT SHE WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN HE WOULD MEET. of course, now the most beautiful woman in his eyes and thoughts was rose. it could not be helped. molly, still, was one of the most beautiful women he had ever met. a beautiful container for a beautiful mind. her mind was what he admired and respected most about her. her ideas wove into his, like a bridge between there minds. at least, that's a rather corny way of thinking about their friendship.
HIS EYES LANDED ON A NEW SHELF OF BOOKS. his brows raised in a sort of question. had she really dedicated an entire shelf to her favorite books? his fingers ran along the spines of the books. even her favorite muggle editions were up here. he assumed she placed these books on the highest shelf so that no one would bother to look at them, let alone try to buy one or more. he smiled and glanced back at molly. it was shocking how well he understood her. comfortable, though. i'll give you back this book,
[/color] he used an open palm to give the book a small pat. if you'll close shop for the afternoon and let me take you out to lunch. my treat. he place one hand on his belt buckle and placed his eyes on molly. when she said yes, he'd give it back. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

HE HAD ALREADY KNOWN HER ANSWER. of course she would say yes. the shop was empty and this was a great opportunity for her to spend some face to face time with scorpius. it was also a great opportunity to get a free plate of food and several free glasses of drink. he smirked, tugging at the buckle of his belt, and pulling the old book out of his trousers. it was an old copy of his favorite childhood tale; the warlock's hairy heart. it was a rather morbid and very unrealistic tale, but had always been his favorite. he already had a cop of this book at home, but having more than one copy of a book was never a bad thing. he gave the book an obnoxious sniff before handing it over to molly. at least it will smell like me for awhile.
[/color] he laughed and tightened the buckle on his belt, but leaving his trousers half way up his tiny arse. a pair of popular muggle boxer shorts covered the rest of that arse. these boxer shorts had silly drawings of unicorns on them. SCORPIUS HAD ALWAYS LIKED TO BE AN INDIVIDUAL. while this style was very popular with the muggle population of the world, wizards still dressed like it was the eighteen hundreds. at least he was an individual in the wizarding world. in the muggle world he's just have to wear a pair of quidditch robes. he smiled at the cloak molly had thrown around her shoulders. how alike could two people be before they became one person? scorpius and molly were dangerously close to becoming one person. AS OBNOXIOUS HE WAS, THE GENTLEMAN IN HIM OFFERED MOLLY AN ARM. had it really been weeks since he had spoken to her? he calculated in his head and counted on his fingers. it really had been weeks. nearly four weeks, actually. scorpius felt ashamed at how long he had let them be apart. he had been busy with work recently with an outbreak of mermaids in muggle towns; somehow those little buggers had worked their way through the plumbing of the world. still, scorpius should not blame his rude, unintentional shunning of molly on his job. he gave her a soft, affectionate nudge when she laced her arm through his. i was thinking we could head on out to the muggles part of london for a bite to eat.[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"i'm quite sure the person who buys the book for their nephew or niece will appreciate your scent on it." molly said as she took the book from him and threw it on the cashier counter top. when she turned back, scorpius had adjusted his pants again and his unicorn boxers were showing from the top. molly smirked widely as she thought to herself that boy sure is one of a kind
she caught herself being mesmerized by scorpius' boxers and the unicorn's pink wings that she didn't notice he had an arm out for her. the two were sassy, harsh, loud, and blunt but mannerly and knowing etiquette? of course. she grabbed his arm lightly and thought about how the two must look to the outside world. molly was covered in her thick, warm cloak that had bright moons and stars on it and scorpius with unicorn boxers and stunning looks. they sure were a sight if one ever saw it.
"where are you thinking in muggle london? i'm thinking a pub, preferably somewhere with music." molly started them off walking them towards and out the door. once outside she noticed the lack of people in diagon alley. she actually loved the abandoned sight. she could appreciate diagon alley so much more when she didn't have to look through huge crowds of people to see it. molly stopped suddenly a few feet out the door, flicked out her wand, and cast an incantation to turn the closed sign closed and to lock the door. she was home free. they could go have fun now.

THEY WALKED ALONG A COBBLE ROAD TOWARD THE END OF THE ALLEY. her arm fit rather comfortably laced through his. he could only imagine how they look. his mind landed on the idea of muggle children on halloween. dressed in an unusual manner and walking in tight knit groups along the side walks. only, instead of knocking on doors and receiving candy, scorpius and molly would be heading off to some dark pub, eating food that you would never find on a child's menu or in a halloween bag, and throw back a few mugs of beer or glasses of wine. something no child would do. or, at least, something no child should do.
THE BRICKS IN THE WALL SHUFFLED AND SHIFTED INTO A DOORLESS FRAME TO LET THE PAIR THROUGH.
[/b] scorpius tucked his wand back into the long pocket of his trousers before leading molly through the hole in the wall. he heard the bricks shuffle and shift once more and when he looked over his shoulder the hole was gone and a solid wall was separating him from diagon alley. why did scorpius feel a pang of sorrow seeing that wall there, between he and his world? scorpius shook those sorrowful and ridiculous thoughts from his head as they continued on through the dirty and dank leaky cauldron until they were on the sunny street of london. THE SUN WAS BEHIND A NEVER ENDING CANVAS OF CLOUDS, ACTUALLY. but in comparison to the pub they had just exited, a cellar would be sunny. you can find us a place to eat,[/color] he instructed. some where with good food and booze.[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

the streets of muggle london were much more crowded than the streets of diagon alley had been and molly rightfully had a large pain in her eyes from adjusting to the sunlight so quickly. despite both of these factors, molly took lead for herself and scorpius and began pushing through the crowds. she tried to scan through her memory of bars she use to go to in muggle london but couldn't remember any. had it been so long since she had been out for some fun.
accidently, molly had steered herself and scorpius into a stern looking old doctor who gave them a dirty look. knowing that she ran into him, she decided to be silly. "watch where you are going grandpa," she said before running off, dragging scorpius along. once out of the crowd and the man's distance barks at her dissolved, molly cocked her head towards scorpius, "i really cannot think of anywhere to go. honestly, i've turned into my old timid self again, i haven't been out in ages. i need a good pint of beer."
right after she said this, molly thought of a place for the two to go. she remeber the place she had thrown scorpius's bachelor party. it was a tavern that oftened played polka and was full of old men but had a mean beer and was full of people who could part. "bugsy's!" she shouted out excited. "we will go there."

HIS EYES WIDENED. out of fear, pleasant surprise, excitement, or plain shock he didn't know. his memory of this tavern was quite clear. he bachelor party consists of only a few people held inside this tavern of old men and their lousy taste in music. the booze were good, though, and after a few drinks the tavern felt rather comfortable. he would let her drag him there but until he had those few drinks in him he would continue to think: i should have dragged her to a gay bar while i had the chance. he smiled over at her. the grandpa joke was rather low on their humor scale. this was a sign that scorpius had come just in time to save molly from herself. he, himself, had winked at the old man and licked his lips rather seductively. though the doctor was no where near his type, he would never take him to a gay bar.
SCORPIUS LET MOLLY LEAD HIM INTO THE TAVERN. it was rather empty at this time of day. the less people chatting, though, the louder the polka music was. he shook his arm out of molly's. i'm going to get us a pint of beer so we can drown our distaste for this music in it.
[/color] he chuckled, heading toward the bar. find us a good table away from everyone![/color] he called before reaching the bar and ordering a pint of seasoned beer and two chilled mugs. when he was sure no one was watching he removed his wand from his pocket and tapped the bottom of the tray. it was like walking a dog, leading the tray to their table by an invisible line. he sat beside molly in a booth shaped like a half circle. the second his bum had hit the seat, his hands were already reaching to pour himself a glass. the pub was a sensory experience. there was an overload of noises, sounds, smells, and touches of people bumping into each other. despite the obvious sleaziness of the tavern, molly really loved it. the polka music gyrated through her and it just made her happy, especially after she got several beers in her. with beer in her, that was when molly was her fun self. the fun side that never came out of her. molly knew that scorpius wasn't a big fan of the obnoxious polka music feature according, so it didn't surprise he when he instantly ran off to get them beer. molly weasley was left along to squeeze her way through the fat men in polka get up's to find a table. she found a large half circle booth after a minute of strenuous searching, took a seat and waited for scorpius and beer.
it was long that she had to wait before she saw scorpius leading their tray, via magic, to their table. molly gave him an extremely dirty look and she knew he would know why. using magic in public was extremely dangerous. “you shouldn’t do that, you know.” molly hissed in a whisper. she said it loudly and knew that he wouldn’t listen to her, but it was her duty to lecture him about it. if he got noticed doing magic by a muggle, the muggles memory would have to be altered and scorpius would get some consequences.
once scorpius was done pouring himself a tall mug of the bee, molly grabbed the glass designated for her and poured herself a glass of the beer. the foam of the beer filled up at least an inch at the top of the mug. when molly took a gulp of her beer, the foam gave a her a thick layer on her lip that made it appear as if she had a false mustache. molly went to grab the pint again to fill her glass higher again and notices in the sterling silver tray that she had a mustache. she quickly wiped it off. she felt like a child who had a milk mustache.
