Another long day at Hogwarts for Sasha, she was on her way to the library after a few mishaps she landed on the fourth floor. She had a big test in her charms class tomorrow, and she needed to study for it or she would fail. Charms class was her worst subject, she could never get the spells right or learn why they are used or anything. She was just an ace in potions, and other subject she was not the person to ask for help. She finally made it to the library, and to her surprise there were only a few people there usually it is always packed. It was hard for her to ever find a seat but now it was empty, there were tons of tables for Sasha to sit at, which was always good because she hated to stand and read at the same time.
Sasha walked down the second row of the huge library looking for any charms books that would help her on the test. The only bad thing was, Sasha couldn't quite remember what the test was on, so she had to study everything about charms and that was going to take forever. She found a few books and walked to one of the tables, she set them all down and the weight of all the books made the table shake like it was about to break. Sasha moved a few of them to the floor not wanting to pay for another thing she broke in this school. Sasha was always clumsy and breaking things never watching where she was going, she had paid for a few things in the past and they were always so expensive. Ever since the last thing that took her whole summer away trying to pay for it, she had been a lot more careful.
She opened the book that would probably help her the most, "The big book of Charms," she figured it had everything about charms in it. She rested her head on her hand as the elbow was on the table, she kept flipping pages through the book trying not to doze off and fall asleep. She would fail the test for sure if she did that, most of the time when she studied it was always with a couple friends but today she was alone. All of her friends had canceled on her to go to a party in one of the common rooms, Sasha was upset that she couldn't go because if she failed this test she might as well kiss passing the call good-bye. Her eyes closed and her hair fell in front of her face, she tapped her fingers along the desk trying some way to stay awake in this boring study hour. She didn't get any sleep the night before trying to study for all of her tests she had been taking. Sasha hated being in the higher classes because of all the tests but it was good for her she guessed better than any other thing.

There were few times that she found herself actually eager to reach the giant cavernous room that was used as the Hogwarts library. Though the book lined walls always seemed soothing to her, the close and tyrannical eye of the Librarian always put a downer on her spirits. Of course Miss Weasley wasn't that bad but Dahlia had a sneaking suspicion that to be a librarian you must be slightly irate and over protective about books, it could have been worse she supposed but even so, the library was sometimes ruined for her.
Hitching the few books she had actually decided to take out the previous week, further up into her bare arms, the Gryffindor made her way down the empty corridors, marveling at the deserted hallway that should rightly be swarming with students. The sun that beat down evenly outside had drawn almost all of the student body out into the grounds of the school, some working on their tans, others working on their quidditch skills where some were simply sat beneath a tree, reading or studying. If she'd had a choice she'd be right down with them, but homework beckoned and the only thing that could help her would be located within the many book lined shelves of the Library.
Reaching the doorway she turned sharply into the room, her eyes drinking in the sight of the familiar desks and chairs that stretched out before her, punctuated every so often with stacks of books and roaring fireplaces that were totally unnecessary in weather such as this, but did not over heat the room. Magic really was such a wonderful thing, and Dahlia was suddenly proud to be part of such a world wide secret.
Though the place was mostly deserted, there were a few dotted around, many bent forward over a large tome, their nose only inches from the paper that held the knowledge they were eagerly drinking in. Such determination was something to reward but it wasn't for a girl such as her, luckily she had always managed to sail through tests and such, memorising notes and figures came easily to her, it was just the essays that stumped her. Not only did they make her wrist hurt painfully, they always managed to make her dissolve into a chatty amiable narrative that apparently had little direction. She was convinced the teachers were only being unfair to her because she was so amazing at tests, but of course, that was probably not true.
With the librarian nowhere in sight, Dahlia dropped the heavy stacks of books onto the clean surface of her desk, deciding she'd just take a seat and wait for Miss Weasley to appear instead of going away. The books made a hollow bang as they collided with the wood, and made many around her look up. Giving them a sheepish grin she turned, scanned those around her until she spotted a girl that she knew. Glad with the discovery of a familiar face she danced across the room before dropping into a chair easily. "Hey, Sasha, I take it you have a test?" From the size of the book on the girls desk it was the most obvious option.

A loud bang echoed through the room and Sasha jumped at it as she was dead asleep being held up by her arm. She looked up at the clock and it had only been ten minutes she had drifted off thanks to the girl with the heavy set of books. She looked up to see one of her friends, oh no, I am not going to get any work done now. Sasha thought as she always loved to talk to such a dear friend, she saw her walking up to her and Sasha cleared some of her books around to give a spot to Dahlia. Sasha smiled her shining teeth to her as she asked to sit down Sasha pulled out a chair for her smiling waiting to see if she would sit down, Sasha hadn't talked to her lovely friend in quite some time.
"Hey Dahlia! What brings you to the library?" Sasha smiled excited then remembered she had asked Sasha a question. "Yes another test in my charms class, it is a huge test and I can't remember what it is on! So I am studying everything about the wonderful world of charms!" Sasha said in a huge sarcastic tone while rolling her eyes. Everyone who knew Sasha knew she hated charms class, she hated the subject and most of all she hated the teacher it was awful and she didn't know a thing. The only thing Sasha learned about in charms class was how many days left till she was done and graduated out of Hogwarts so she could try and find her dream to be a professional quidditch player.
Sasha's eyes drifted back down to her book as she couldn't keep staring at her wonderful friend forever. The crusty pages looked so old Sasha was afraid to move the pages or touch them at all or they might turn into dust. Almost all of the books in the library looked centuries old, she didn't know if they did it on purpose to scare the students into thinking the library was a nice and creepy place for everyone or these books really were centuries old. Sasha just looked through the pages not really studying, she was about to fall asleep again if she wasn't talking to her friend soon. She decided she wanted to stay awake and turned her head back to her friend to talk to her some more. She loved to talk, Sasha was never such a boring girl and was always full of so much spunk.

Uncaring of the consequences to her less than quiet arrival, Dahlia flopped comfortably onto the chair that was offered her, pulling her legs beneath her immediately in a crossed legged yoga position that many would have squealed in pain at just to watch. With a friendly and easy smile decorating her features she glanced down at the giant book on the desk before Sasha and made a face as she read a few lines of the tiny cramped writing. Charms? ew giving a small giggle she felt the urge to close the book and drag the girl outside so they could both make the most of the day, but it would be highly irresponsible of a Head Girl to do such a thing.
At the question she almost brightened, if that was possible, when a good mood took Dahlia she was like an excited puppy, never keeping quiet and constantly bouncing around on the balls of her feet. It was a good idea that she had sat down after all. I had some books to return, nothing too interesting, though I do have some homework that requires my instant attentiont as she spoke she gave the bag that she had dropped at her feet a disgusting glance as if she could see the tightly rolled piece of parchment that lay inside, ready to make her day hell as she trudged through the endless notes on the phases of the moon. How delightful.
When Sasha spoke, Dahlia immediately felt her pain, she had many a time wasted time studying an entire subject when an hour or so would have sufficed. Well I'm afraid it's your lucky day, I'm pretty sure it's on motor charms as Head Girl it was Dahlia's duty to pay that extra bit more attention to her day to day lessons than the others, and she had the exact same test in two days time. Not that she was looking forward to it, at least she had already crammed every little thing about the subject she could possibly understand inside her cranium and was patiently waiting to pour it out onto the paper through her quill. Watching the expression on her friends face it was plain to see the studying was going far from well and she was in need of a break or a distraction and Dahlia was glad to help. Changing the subject she nodded her head towards the far window where a small boy was zooming around atop a thin piece of wood that looked nothing more important than a broom made of twigs. How's Quidditch going? she didn't really follow the sport, but when the school turned out in droves to line the stands and support their team with raucous cheers she was always amongst them, house pride and all that.

Sasha let a smile come out as she heard Dahlia's comments to what subject she was looking at. She had no idea what any of this was about she was almost positive even if she knew the subject it wouldn't go well at all. She was going to fail the test no doubt about it, on every test she ever took in that class she never got higher than a C. She would try harder and harder but all it would be in the end was a C, she hated the teacher they didn't really get along to well. A couple times during the year Sasha was late to class and was screamed at for being so late, but it was her first class of the day, if Sasha "accidentally" overslept she would be late. Sasha just smiled at all the times she was out in the hall screaming at her teacher and her teacher screaming back, it wasn't normal behavior for a prefect, but she had the highest grades in her common room so it didn't matter.
"Oh no! Really? Not that no not that!" Sasha said upset about what type of charms it was, she was bad enough at charms as it was but then those kind! Sasha would fail the test for sure no doubt about it, there was nothing she could do to learn all about motor's charms and pass the test in less than twenty-four hours. She looked up at her friend who was just staring into her book, she wondered if maybe Dahlia could help her with anything about this subject. "Do you know anything about this? Motor charms are horrible on me I will never pass the test if I don't have a little help, please just a little really little bit of help?" Sasha felt like she was begging to her own friend for help, of course she would help that is what friends are for, right?
Then Dahlia spoke words she never should of said to Sasha, "How's Quidditch going?" Right then all the studying and everything Sasha had just learned went straight out of her head. Sasha's thoughts were swarmed with her latest game when she almost lost to Ravenclaw's seeker but Sasha pulled out in the end jumping for the snitch and being saved by her broom before she his the ground. A big smile came to her face as more and more thoughts of her flying and practice and the games she had been in just took complete control over her. Her once pale face from extensive studying turned into a colorful and very animated as she closed her big book in front of her not thinking and slid it off to the side as her head shot up. A little of her hair was in the way so she flipped it off to the side, and started to begin her long speech about the wonderful game of Quidditch.
"Well, since you asked! We had this game the other day and I don't know if you were there or not but it was amazing! We were facing Ravenclaw who has one of the best seekers in the school, and I am making my way up there we have only lost one game so far because the damn Slytherin seeker cheated pulling out his wand in the middle of the game when we were to far to be seen. But when we were facing Ravenclaw he almost beat me as we were flying as fast as we could back into the qudditch pitch he started reaching for it and his hand was only inches away. I decided to go for it because my arms were to short to go that far I stood on my broom and I lunged for the snitch catching it in my right hand but I started falling quickly to the ground. My broom was trying to catch up and I was just inches away when my broom saved me and we had won the game three hundred and sixty to one hundred and eighty," Sasha continued on and on about quidditch not really even noticing that she had books next to her to study for her test tomorrow.

Settling back in her chair now she had lapsed into a comfortable conversation with the girl at the table she allowed her eyes to gaze around the room. There was still no sign of the librarian so she did not have to move in any hurry and the pile of books she had dropped were still perched slightly precariously at the edge of the heavy wooden desk where you would have to drop in when leaving the library. Actually, Dahlia thought it rather careless to leave the desk open, and although it was common knowledge that there were many anti theft charms laced in every page of the books that lined the great halls of the Hogwarts library, there was always ways around them for a moment and if someone with enough ingenuity were to try, a mass robbery could occur. How irresponsible of Miss Weasley.
Deciding that the problem had nothing to do with her and was simply not her concern she glanced back at the girl at her side, hoping her bit of information was going to be a great help to her and aide in her important studying. Though she had every faith that her friend would be able to sail through the exam well enough, even if she didn't have the faith in herself. Even she was aware of the problems she was having with the teacher, and though Dahlia always found Professor Wickson to be a nice enough woman, a little young maybe, she could see why Sasha didn't view her as a favourite after the amount of times she had been raged at for being even a minute late. It was admittedly unfair and Dahlia always took the side of her friend, but who was she too chastise her teacher? It was just the way the world worked, superiors would always bully their inferiors.
The reaction she drew caused alarm to spark in her and she fixed widened eyes on Sasha, worried for a moment that something terrible happened. When the girl expressed her reason she tugged her lip beneath her teeth and gnawed on it for a moment, feeling bad that she had been the one to drop the bomb shell. Feeling slightly sheepish she gave a small nervous grin At least it's better to know I suppose maybe Sasha could knuckle down and cram everything about motor charms into her mind now before it was too late. It was true that she felt bad for Sasha but there was really nothing she could do short of making a replica of her knowledge and passing it over, and this was something she wasn't quite sure was possible, well not for someone like Dahlia anyway, maybe Professor Rowan could do it? Not that she'd ever asked him, the Headmaster gave her the creeps whenever she was in his presence. I could lend you my notes if you want? I'm not sure I could blurt everything out at you right now from memory and you'd get i the solution seemed fair enough, everything important that she believed to be on the test would be in those precious notes.
Trying to twist the situation back she threw herself into the subject of quidditch eagerly, trying to pretend that she understood. Glad that she had cheered the girl up she listened happily to her speak of the thing that she loved. As she watched the book disappear she made a mental note to remind Sasha she had to study if they talked too long. Nodding along to the words that were directed to her she smiled brightly, remembering the game vaguely only because she had known Sasha was playing. Listening to the blow by blow account was a new take on the game, she had always thought it was slightly pointless when the action was going on too far above you to see and she hadn't noticed any of this had happened. Punctuating every now and again with a Really? and a Wow she imagined all the moves in her head. I never knew it could be so interesting she teased lightly before quickly adding. I'm glad you won though!

When Dahlia talked about giving Sasha her notes, Sasha's eyes lit up, she had hope on passing this immpossible test. Sasha was ready to beg for them if she had to and Sasha was responsible she was a prefect and all. Sasha looked at her darling friend right in the eyes and grabbed her hand and looked almost as if she was about to get on her knees and beg for them right then and there. "Oh my gosh! Dahlia! That would help me so much if I could have your notes for this! It would help me more then any of these books could!" Sasha smiled pulled her friend into a big hug she couldn't help but smiling as she returned her friend to her sitting position and sat straight up in her chair again. She was smiling that finally someone was nice enough to help her.
Then something happened that Sasha didn't expect in a million years, when she pulled away and looked into the girls eyes she felt something. Sasha looked into her eyes as her heart fluttered and her stomach felt nauseous, she knew what happened but didn't know why. She had just developed a crush on her dear friend, she didn't know why or how, but just that one sign of compassion that her dear friend gave to her was all Sasha needed to be set off into a deep desire for her friend. She didn't even know if her friend was bi or lesbian, she had been friends with Dahlia for a little bit, but not that long. Sasha put her head in her hands for a quick second before looking down and slowly looking up checking out her friends body sorta on purpose but sorta on accident too. Sasha didn't know what to do or say but soon she was all soon distracted on her favorite subject.
"Yes oh my gosh! It is so interesting and thank you! We won a lot of our games we might go to nationals! And face some of the other schools quidditch teams! Do you even know what that would mean to me?" Sasha almost screamed with the widest smile on her face. She was talking so fast she couldn't believe her friend could understand the words that were coming out of her mouth. "You should join quidditch! You could do a great job your not that bad at flying you could help the Gryffindor team out a lot! Right now they are in last place, then Ravenclaw then Slytherin, and we are in first! This is the first time Hufflepuff has been good in so many years! I am so excited! Usually its slytherin or gryffindor but now its hufflepuff! Isn't it amazing? You should really join it would be so much fun for you and we would be up against eachother sometimes!" Sasha said smiling with a huge smile.

The Gryffindor evidently perked up at the reaction she got from her friend, and the smile on her face only served to widen, flashing pearly white teeth that not even magic could gift someone. There we have it, you shall have my notes and you shall pass with flying... broomsticks she gave a small wink at the Quidditch reference though it had been quite lame in all honesty. Giving a small giggle at her foolishness rather than her amazing humor she reached below the table to where she had dropped her small bag earlier. The dragon skin piece was worth more than Dahlia cared to mention but her disregard for the material object which had been a forced gift from her elder sister, was evident by the aged and slightly battered state it was in, though she personally thought it looked better a little worn.
Pulling it onto her lap she rummaged around inside the extended contents for a moment, searching for the small maroon notepad that held her notes for charms, they were colour coded of course, Dahlia wasn't a head girl because of her pretty face and ability to hold a conversation. After a few moments she muttered a small 'aha' and pulled said notebook from the masses of other junk that decorated the bottom of her bag. There we go with another bright smile she presented the struggling Hufflepuff with everything she would ever need to know about motor charms.
Glad that she had been a help she settled into the numerous Quidditch stories Sasha was happy to relay to her. It would indeed have been exciting to see members of their own school team up there battling it out for the prestigious title of world champion, and the excitement was evident in every crease of Sasha's pretty face.
Quidditch had never been something she could get the hang of. From a young age her family had encouraged her to sit atop one of those expensive, but still not completely safe, brooms that people put the fate of their lives into, but it was evident after her reluctance to fly higher than six feet of the ground that there would be no little Quidditch star about to burst out from within her. To Sasha, however she decided not to give the long, boring tale of how she had been petrified of taking her hands off the handle of her broom long enough to catch a ball, let alone zoom around at high speed and thrust herself from the only safety she had in order to catch a little flying gold ball. No, Dahlia had her passions but none of them were airborne, she would leave the ball games to the Hufflepuff before her, she was so much better at it than Dahlia could ever be after all.
Giving a light laugh she shook her head. I'm afraid Quidditch just isn't for me, I'm a bit of a clutz when it comes to things like that, I'd probably fall to my death or something stupid like that! the thing was, she was only half joking.

The glow on Sasha's face was brighter than ever while she was watching her friend being so happy to get the notes for her. This was really nice when she remembered her and Dahlia didn't start off on nice terms, but now they are all past that. Sasha couldn't help but let out a random giggle thinking of their past foolish and childish behavior. She was smiling and in all honesty needed those notes or she might not even pass her last year as a Hufflepuff, the thought of that was bringing tears to her eyes. She quickly wiped them away not wanting to seem sad in front of her dear friend, Sasha just crossed her legs facing her friend waiting for her to hand the notebook that controlled the passing or failing of this test. Her leg was slightly shaking as she was resisting the urge to just take the whole bag that laid neatly on Dahlia's lap.
When she pulled out the red spiral Sasha's eyes widened wanting that notebook, it was what she needed, she quickly took it from Dahlia as she was handing it to her. Sasha looked up at her with thankful eyes and a wide smile stretching the skin, she looked into her dear eyes ready to give a sincere thank you to her wonderful friend. "Oh Dahlia! I needed this so much! Thank you, your so wonderful and smart I am happy to have you as a reliable friend that I can have as a study buddy for times in need," Her eyes were glistening from the light as she rambled on and on about how much she was thankful. Eventually it seemed like Sasha was taking to long and she decided to shut up, she turned back to the table after uncrossing her legs. She opened the notebook and her eyes widened once again in utter fear, Dahlia wrote so small, and filled up at least twenty pages with her writing.
"T-these are some good notes," Sasha said gulping flipping page after page being careful not to tear them, she would never forgive her self if she ruined something she was lucky to have from a friend. She didn't know if it would be easier to read the book or her friends notes, as she just stared into the page not thinking of anything until she listened into what he friend said. Denying the quidditch offer Sasha soon had a frown on her face, she closed the notebook and turned back to her dear friend. Quidditch was her passion her life, it's her dream to have a future job at the greatest sport in the world. She just turned to her dear friend pouting a bit, she wanted all of her friends to be in the game and share as much passion as Sasha did for it.
"Well, I guess so, I still think you would have a wonderful time," Sasha said in a slightly depressed tone, she didn't want to make her friend feel bad but she wished so bad that she would join the game. She leaned into the back of her chair feeling the cool wood against her back she folded her arms, she didn't know what to say, she wanted to try and convince her to play. "But...but you could have amazing stories like I just told you about, and you never know you could make Gryffindor the number one team! Then you could go face Beauxbatons or Durmstrang in the finals to see which school is best out of us three! It is a great thing to do, I would love it so much if you would join!" Sasha said looking into her friend's eyes giving her the most pleading look she could conjure up in her head.

Once she handed over the notes she waited with baited breath, not many knew the risk they took when taking learning materials from her, they would always be in pristine condition and they would always be complete, no missing sentences, no half assed quotes. It was likely Sasha was about to become very bogged down, but she kept her reservations to herself as she grinned at the excited blonde, glad that she could have at least been some help, for however short a time. Well you know I am always here when you need me the smile showed she was genuine and she felt the same way as Sasha.
Biting the small plump pillow of her lip she watched the Hufflepuff's reactions. Dahlia was renowned for being a perfectionist and it was reflected in every aspect of her life, she never missed a beat in a lesson and it was all paraphrased perfectly onto the straight lines of her notepad, ready to be absorbed once more when a test loomed and called for the information to be relayed in her tiny neat handwriting onto an essay question. Yeah I always try to get everything down her voice was slightly sheepish and she fought any embarrassment she felt, after all, she didn't become Head Girl for no reason, since she had first entered the halls of Hogwarts she had tried her hardest to become the perfect student, with a perfect track record and grades that remained at a constant high, it was her only way of making her parents proud and stepping out of the shadow of her elder Slytherin sister, no matter how short the time it lasted.
Dahlia did feel slightly sad that she couldn't share such a thing with Sasha, after all, there was no denying it would have been much more fun for her to be risking her life, flying through the air at top speeds beside someone who she liked, but once she hit the pitch she'd be alongside people that were trying to make her lose or falter or something along those lines, and if it were ever to turn ugly... well, Dahlia was easily a girl that could look after herself, but she wasn't one for violence when it wasn't necessary, and she wasn't sure she'd be able to really get much off a upper cut 30 foot up in the air. No, no matter how much she would have loved to see the excitement fill her friends face, she wouldn't be able to bring herself to play the game competitively, it was hard enough to play for entertainment! I think I'll just have to try and find stories elsewhere her tone was kind and soft as she let the bomb drop again, hoping the blonde girl wouldn't continue to take it bad and almost as an insult to herself, something Dahlia would never want. Besides, with all the work this year and my Head Girl duties I don't know where I'd find the time to learn to fly adequately let alone learn to do it whilst multitasking and throwing balls around [/b] this time she ended with a slightly cheeky grin. Sasha's heart was still hit hard by the amount of notes she needed to read so that she could pass this test coming up, there were so many and so little time. She didn't know what to do as she flipped through page after page skimming the notes as a tear rolled down her eye knowing she was going to fail the test. It was to much for her to study in so little time and she could tell her friend was kind of enjoying seeing the sight of Sasha act so crazy. "How could there be so many notes on one little subject?" Sasha asked still wide eyed as she looked over to her friend. She heard her friend say she could help her, and Sasha turned to her in a second. "Please, Dahlia, tell me everything!" Sasha said in a nice way but kind of demanding, she needed to know this if she failed she didn't know what would happen.
"I am so horrible at this subject, I really wish charms never existed sometimes and there were just two flying classes," Sasha smiled day dreaming of her having to fly at least two times everyday. She had a wonderful time flying and after today Dahlia knew that very well, she took every joke about the game as an insult in a way. She knew it wasn't as hard as many people said it was and it felt like she was almost telling her it was a fools game and only stupid people play it. Sasha's smile soon turned to a frown as she took each joke and comment to the game as a harsh insult to her whole joy in it. Sasha just shook her head slightly as a tear came down her cheek from each eye listening to everything her friend was saying, and it just went on and on.
"Fine! If the game and everyone else who plays it is so bad to you then why don't you just leave me alone!?" Sasha said a little louder in the quiet library as she stood up sliding Dahlia's notebook back to her. Sasha turned away and stormed off tears streaming from her eyes, as soon as she stormed the around the corner of one of the bookshelves she fell to the ground. Sasha sat there in a fetal position as the insult rang through her head as the tears flowed, the one thing she had to make her happy was just laughed at and tormented by the girl she thought was her friend. Sasha balled against the books trying to stay quiet and was mostly working except for a heavy breath every now and then as her friend didn't bother to go after her yet. Sasha figured that Dahlia was just another one of those people that didn't give a damn about everyone else.

Watching Sasha flip allowed her time to relax against the chair, Dahlia had no worries about the up and coming test, nor did she feel the need to pour over notes all day, if she didn't know her stuff by now, she never would. That was Dahlia's motto on the subject. Though many knew she would never fail something as trivial as a charms test, she was practically an expert on such things even if she did say so herself. Yes it may be infuriating for others, but that was Miss De Luca, she concentrated her time on her studies, the one thing she would possibly use to make her parents proud of her and earn her any recognition at the side of her awful sister. She was already a disappointment simply because of her house and her indignant 'no' when ordered to join the ranks of the Death Eaters, even if it be in training. Her ultimate betrayal had been to, instead join the Order as if it came to it, she would be fighting against her own sister. A solemn but harsh truth she was able to deal with.
Pushing said thoughts from her thought she fixed her mind back on the blonde girl before her who was still flipping, no doubt slowly slipping into the worry such a mass of tiny scrawled words had created for her. The Head Girl in her half wanted to tell her she should have listened in class and made her own notes if Dahlia's were too detailed, but the friend in her told her to keep quiet and just sit back in silence. A stab of guilt hit her though at the distressed words and she leant forward, plucking the book of notes from the girls clutching hands before flipping through them idly. After a few moments she seized the movement of the pages, her fingers marking the places of certain ones. With her finger fixed on the page she presented it to the confused Hufflepuff. Just make sure you know all these and you will be fine it was the only quick advice she could give the girl. Allowing the girl to slip off into a daydream she dropped the book of notes in front of her again, open at the appropriate page. As for the flying, Dahlia knew more than enough people who would hate the prospect of two lessons and she herself was glad it was optional at her age. Weekly broken limbs was not an attractive prospect.
The sound of Sasha's voice growing in pitch roused her from her thoughts and her mouth fell open in a small 'o' of shock at the words that were being so rudely thrown at her. Narrowing her eyes she felt her forehead wrinkle in reaction Unfortunately Sasha not everyone can share your passions for things in this world, that is how it goes with her words she was already picking herself up from her table, gathering her things and the notepad that was so obnoxiously thrown at her. As the Hufflepuff stormed off Dahlia felt no obligation to follow and she pulled her bag up onto the shoulder, returning the bemused looks of the others around her with a small shrug. Hell if she knew what had just happened, but it was definitely the last time she tried to help the other girl. She's stormed off just because Dahlia had a fear of flying and Quidditch? What the..? Muttering under her breath she danced through the tables Sheesh some people need to respect others decisions in this place and that meant her decision not to ride a broom and throw a ball around pointlessly. She had better things to do with her life really. With that thought she was gone from the library with a idly smile to the librarian and her heels clicking loudly on the stone flags.
