RESERVED, Lily Luna Potter.
Because Albus was such a truthful bloke, it was not a lie to say that he had more than missed his sister. What with her new position at Hogwarts as Librarian and his as Assistant to the Head of Department, Albus was more than sure that they were starting to drift. And this, to anyone who even knew him, simply would not do. He was closest to Lily out of his entire family, and it was obvious since he often sought to take care of her. Being the shy kid when he was younger, Lily, who was notably much braver than him, never once bullied the boy. Often enough, she always took him under her wing despite her role as his little sister, and gave the rest a whooping for even thinking of bullying her brother. This relationship lasted them throughout their childhood, but as he grew up he became more and more protective of her, and he eventually assumed the role she once had. Time had been more than kind to him, making the scrawny boy a young adult with a lean body accompanied by muscles from Quidditch, and more than fitting for the role of a protector, along their positions to be switched. Often swatted for growing so tall despite the fact that he should be small, he was more than glad to finally be able to be the one that did the protecting.
However, back to the point of how he felt he was drifting from his sister. It was rather sad on how he had let it happen, wasn't it? In order to rectify this horrible horrible horrible situation - it was disastrous! - Albus had thought of an idea. He had saw fit to borrow one of the Ministry's owls the day prior, and attached to it a letter that was addressed to Lily Luna Potter, Hogwarts - the words written in neat cursive and sent it off. Ignoring the sappiness of the rest of the letter, the more important part was the part where it went:
Dear Lils,
...
-- And as such, it seems like we've yet to have lunch this year. Please meet me at Italy, the restaurant where we used to go, hmm? Usual time, little sis!
Love, your brother, Albus S. Potter.
There, a lunch date that had been set up. As the letter had been sent the day before, lunch time came soon enough for the young Potter. Tidying up his desk before warding the area around his office, he hoped no one would be stupid enough to try and break in. After all, there was something to be said that being in Slytherin did have its massive perks - like learning the nastiest hexes. Some of which he had chosen to employ in order to safeguard his word. Unspeakables took their work seriously, and this was one of the basic things that they had been drilled to do. Should their secrets be let out, it would surely be no good for them. A grin decked on his face as he left the Department of Mysteries and took the elevator down to the lobby, he wondered what they should eat for lunch. Pasta? Spaghetti? was there even a difference between the two? As he let his thoughts consume his mind for the journey from the elevators to the Ministry lobby, he stood at the Apparation Point with no conclusion in the end. Ah, maybe he'll just ask Lily later, he thought finally, before turning on the spot and apparating out of the Ministry. With a small pop, he arrived at one of the dark Alleys in Italy, and emerged from there while dusting his robes and hiding his wand. Wizarding Italy may be nice, but it was the Muggle part of it that had the best food, admittedly. Smiling to himself as he checked his reflection in one of the reflective windows of a nearby shop, he waited outside the restaurant for a certain Lily Luna Potter to arrive. If she was late, he'd give it no rest when it came to teasing her tardiness.
